The position paper on supporting Open Youth Work was unanimously adopted by the General Assembly of the European Confederation of Youth Clubs (ECYC) on the 15th of February 2015.

This paper frames the policy, funding and legislative conditions and interventions that ECYC see as necessary for the protection and further development of Open Youth Work and Youth Organisations.

The Bureau and Secretariat of ECYC commit to lobbying and advocating on these points at a European level and will support it's member organisations lobbying efforts at local, regional and national levels.
